Billing Immunizations, CPT, LOT Number selections

How can we make it so either in the encounter details for our biller its shows if the vaccine is a state purchase or private purchase?

The IH/SO box isnt being used as shown in the attachment and I was wondering if that information could be placed there.

Also how can I make it so when to doctors select the shots it doesnt put it in billing until the nurse who gives it selects the lot number. this way it will be easier to remove if they find out the child has an ear infection or another sickness.

thank you

Basic volume reports -

I am seeking a basic report that will show volumes. For example, I want to know such as how many CBCs (CPT 85013) did provider #A do in the month of december on Medicare patients?

Is there anything out there where I can obtain this data that won’t require me to spend 100 hours to set up?

Thank You in Advance,

I did a live webinar today on the Registry, the presenter stated on the demographics tab if you what to see all your patients with a particular insurance it will pull all patients with that insurance whether it is primary or 2nd.

I did a test and I don’t believe the 2nd insurances are pulling. Has anyone ever encountered this?

I would like an update on RVU reporting capabilities through ECW. Currently there is no reliable, working report that will give us work RVU totals by provider for any given period. The RVU report available through ECW is not functional - it does not return accurate data on productivity units.

Thank you,

APL reports not working properly after upgrade to v9

Hi,
Our APL productivity reports are not working properly. We upgraded to version 9 a few weeks ago and it appears the “break” happened as a result of our uprgrade. Our current report version is 8.0.0.K. Our productivity reports are not picking up all codes billed when we use our CPT groupings, nor are they reporting any payments received on many reports that should be reporting payments. Did anyone else have this problem? If so, what is the solution? What version of APL are other v9 users using?

how to determine payor mix

under reports, demogrpahics/televox, there is a button that says insurance payor mix. I click that but I get an error, INSURNACE GROUPS NOT DEFINED, cannot generate report.

What are insurance groups and how do I create them?

I discovered that independence bluecross will not cover holters, ABPMs, ABIs, ultrasound, DEXA done through an internist’s office. What is the best way to find out what percentage of patients I have are bluecross?

No Show Report

Anyone have any tricks on generating a report of no shows? Ideally, we’d like to have a report that only shows patients that have no showed during a time frame and then generate a letter stating our no show policy, or even better, generate a claim for our no-show fee.

I know you can get a report of all non-billable visits, but it doesn’t filter out the cancellations and other non-billable visit types. Also, it just gives a list, and we’d have to manually go to each patient’s file and generate a letter.

Not sure if this can be done, but we’d like for it to.

Significant error in eBO report

I just discovered a significant error in an eBO report that I rely on every month for productivity figures for my docs. This is the 372.04 - Financial Analysis At CPT Level (With Procedure Code Group) in eBO v. 5.0. A single write off adjustment is counted 5 or 6 times on different lines, resulting in a total write off adjustment figure that is totally bogus.

In addition, the support website is down and I can’t open a ticket. I will do that as soon as the system is up again. In the mean time, I thought that anyone else who has 5.0 and uses this report would want to know that it is unreliable.
