what does $79 get you from Navicure?

I have been using Navicure for more than 3 years with a different software. I currently pay $115. I just signed up with ECW and signed up for Navicure through ECW @ $79/month. I was wondering if anyone knows what features should i should expect at this pricing. is eom manager part of this package?

Anyone else noticed commercial insurance companies are paying much slower than usual? I’m like 15K short for January with no drop in volume. My feeling is that it’s related to 5010. Gateway says the claims are getting there. Is it just me?

Athena for billing

Hi! is anyone out there using Athena for billing? I saw about five years ago Girish posted thar the bidirectional interface was up and running. I have a mgmt consultant who recommended looking at Athena because of superior collection rates but I would like to hear from anyone else who is doing this and your pros and cons. thanks!

eClinicalMessenger - Only reminding for certain visit types

Does anyone know if we can control which visit types get reminder phone calls from eClinicalMessenger? We want to remind patients of Physicals and Followups, but not urgent visits.

I see the Visit Type Mapping tab, but no way to exclude some of the visit types.

Creating Ecliniform item from a multipage document

Does anyone have an efficient way to do this? My staff has created separate ecliniforms for the front and back side of various documents. They haven’t found a way to combine these on one ecliniform or to make a multipage ecliniform. If there’s a way to do this, it’d be faster for the doc and nurse when completing the ecliniform.

Enterprise Directory error

A facility was attached to a practice in Enterprise Directory in error. It never should have been attached. There are no legimate claims for this practice/facility combination. (There are about 10 posted in error that we trying to correct.)

This is causing daily havoc at charge posting and for financial reporting. We logged a ticket two weeks ago for eCW to unlink this facility from the practice since I get an error when I try. Two weeks later, still no success. Does anyone using Enterprise Directory have any advice for correcting this error?

Followup on referrals for noncompliance

We are a primary care practice, trying to figure out how to track referrals that were not completed (e.g. to GI, cardiology, pulmonary, etc.). So far, we have been clicking “completed” on referrals only after a report comes back from a specialist. We are trying to find an easy way to generate a report or list of patients who have not followed through on a referral over a given time period, e.g. 3 months. There does not seem to be a way to do this. One can look at all referrals, or all outstanding referrals, 1 day at a time. There is a “referral report” under reports but this almost seems to be a list of patients that have seen us.

Can anyone share anything they’ve done to have a referral coordinator contact noncompliant patients? Is there a way ECW can make such followup tracking easier?
