No Signature = Banned

Hello All,

I’m sorry to report that policing signatures has become a little too time consuming. I’m giving everyone a week to update their signatures to include at least their full name and practice name. After that, as I come across posts with no signature, I’m simply going to ban the account.

I would appreciate it if users would not respond to posts or threads without signatures.

eCWusers.com will be changing servers very soon. You may have noticed some downtime issues over the last month or so. This move is to resolve the downtime issues. We’ll be with the same host, just on a different server. You should not notice any difference but if you lose a post while the DNS propagates, send me a PM and I’ll recover it for you.

First AND last name required for Forum signup - NO EXCEPTIONS - remind your friends

Fellow users:

We are seeing more and more new signups which do not contain full first and last names and practice name/employer. As the use of the Forum increases we are seeing - naturally - increased enrollment attempts. My fellow Admins and I are real-life eCW users just like you, with other things to do and we do have not the time to send emails trying to track down a first/last name when an enrollment form says the first/last name is “XQ” or something similar. Having been a nice guy in the past, I found sending such emails bore no fruit. When I see such an enrollment, I delete it.

Please remind your colleagues who wish to participate in the Forum that the Forum is not anonymous and that begins with their enrollment. Again, those who try to evade the name/practice requirements will have their membership submission deleted.

eCWusers Annual Meeting at the National Users Conference

I’m pleased to announce that our annual eCWusers Forum meeting will be held at the National Users Conference in Nashville this year. Time and location are yet to be determined but we’d like to have some additional content for our forum members this year in addition to getting to know one another and putting faces with avatars.

We need your help to determine what activities/content might be most useful to those who are able to attend the meeting. Please complete the poll, post a reply if you will attend, and also include in your reply any suggestions or ideas you have for content and/or activities. Thank you!

NUC 2014 eCWusers Gathering!

eClinicalWorks will be hosting an informal and fun gathering as they do each year for the NUC eCWusers forum folks, on Friday evening immediately following breakouts from 5:30pm to 7pm. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. This is one of my favorite parts of the conference. It’s awesome to put faces with the names and avatars from this forum. Afterwards we can go to the Downtown Orlando destinations that eCW has provided transportation for.

The location is the Orlando World Center Marriott’s FALLS FUNCTION LAWN - this is outside, by the pool. It’s a pretty big hotel, so a map is attached to help out.

Welcome to the eCWusers online users group. To participate, you must register as a member. To register, please review the following Terms of Membership (“Terms”) carefully. By registering, you agree to abide by these Terms.

Registration

Although we intend to be as inclusive as possible, registration is limited to physician offices and users of eClinicalWorks software (“eCW”), as well as physicians evaluating the eCW software. We welcome individual IT support persons, supporting eCW practices, and representatives of eClinicalWorks, LLC (“eCW”) as well. In certain cases we may not permit users to register for these Forums, at our own discretion and for any reason. For example, if eCW has no record of registrant as having demo’ed their software.

License to Use Posted Materials; Monitoring

Subject to the Posting Rules set forth below, by submitting messages, information, data, text, files, links, artwork, photographs, software, or other materials (“Materials”) to any of these Forums, you automatically grant (or warrant that the owner of such Materials has expressly granted) us the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, take excerpts from, incorporate into other works, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Materials (in whole or part), in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.
