Stop creating ecw shortcut link on desktop

I’ve been using eCW for a few years, but after the most recent update it has started creating a shortcut link on the desktop every time I open the exe version that I use daily.

Does anyone know how to stop this automatic shortcut creation?

delete encounter?

Some claims were created in “out of office encounters”. Unfortunately these were not out of office….so when the provider clicked “done.” another encounter was created.
I have a bunch of these in the claims window under “encounters without claims.”
I’m trying to figure out how to delete these.
I’m in ECWV11e. (exe)

Question: Report / Query Designer SQL

We have the full EBO package including Report and Query designer. However, it seems the current eCWEBO package does not supply the data layout and fields, nor the SQL structure. Poking around in an older eCWEBO package I am able to create my own queries. Is this a permissions setting, as I have full Admin rights on all? Is this an add-on? A special request? Any help or direction would be appreciated. TY

Dental - Does anyone use an outsourced call center who use eCW?

We have been growing our dental services and are considering outsourcing our dental scheduling. Our biggest issue has been that many outsourcing call centers do not use eCW and don’t care to learn.

Does anyone using eCW for dental also use a 3rd party vendor for dental scheduling? If so, can you share who you use?

I promise to tell them where I got their name from.

Reopen addressed referrals?

Hi there! Is there a way to reopen previously addressed referrals? I’ve watched the how-to video on my.ecw but I don’t have the same functionality that they show in the video. I do have the security permissions, but just can’t figure out what I need to do. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Diagnostic Orders with supporting documents

We have an interface with SimonMed for sending out orders for x-rays, CT/MRIs. We need to know how to streamline this to include supporting documents, such as insurance information/authorization and necessary medical records. Does anyone have instructions on how this can be done without having to send the order and then use the medical record section to send the other information?

Inventory Module

Is anyone currently using this module? It has been advertised to us for years and we had a derm provider who was interested so we just recently implemented.

We ran into a hard stop issue - sales tax doesn’t calculate correctly. For example, we enter 2.5% in the module, at the time of sale the sales tax gets rounded up to the next whole number, so it rounds it up to 3%. So now it is essentially useless to us. We reported to eCW and it is a JIRA.

Was wondering if anyone else encountered this issue and found a workaround within the inventory module?

Last year we had a demo for the inventory module. This did not automatically update once a product was used. Has this changed or do you have to manually update what you HAVE USED?
